DECEMBER TIP OF THE MONTH
Best Post Move? Look Baseline First .
From the book, POWER POST PLAY.

December Tip of the Month

As soon as a player receives a pass at the low post position, he should turn his head and look at the baseline. If the defense is not in position to stop the baseline lay up, then the player should take one dribble directly to the basket and muscle the ball in. This could be a dunk or a power shot off of two feet. A one-footed lay up shot is not advisable in the internal zone due to the impending contact.

Whenever the defense plays the passing lane from the top side, the baseline will usually be open. It is unforgivable for a player to miss taking advantage of this easy scoring opportunity.
